Separate a menu price from a completed receipt

The same action can have three money stages

A quoted item, a selected preview and a completed purchase are different states. The calendar test spent nothing on selection and charged 300 game naira when Place was pressed.

Work has a similar distinction: offered pay is a menu label, a running shift is an activity, and the completed wage receipt is a settlement result.

Create a narrow money window

Read the current quote and avoid adding an unrelated purchase before checking the resulting charge. If multiple actions happen together, label the outcome as a combined window.

What each observation establishes

The Amala receipt listed a 300 meal, while the complete outing also had two travel charges. The receipt can be correct without containing every cost of the session.

Handle a delayed input before repeating it

An unresponsive control does not prove an action failed. Inspect the current scene, action state and receipt before another purchase or start attempt.

If the result cannot be isolated, report it as uncertain. Inventing a tax, bonus or refund to make a balance difference match a label weakens the explanation.

Is a wallet difference enough?

It can support a narrow observation when other actions are excluded, but it does not name an unknown cause. Keep transport, bills, purchases and income in separate notes.

Does cancellation mean a refund? An uncharged preview cancellation is not a paid purchase followed by a refund. The placement report tested the former only.
