A drawer or missing button: identify the visible layer
First name the layer you can see: a focused Sim drawer, a Phone panel, the Map or the underlying game scene. A control reached in one desktop test is not a global keyboard shortcut. The completed navigation check closed a focused Sim drawer with Escape; a later Phone obstacle remained unresolved. Neither finding establishes that an unavailable work action is a rendering fault.

- Inspect the actual control and focused area before trying a normal close action.
- If the scene becomes readable, read Career or the destination again.
- If it remains blocked, preserve the symptom and stop inferring what lies behind it.
- Compare the next readback as a new check with its own date.

Did the activity pay, and did the result remain?
Use two questions instead of one: what changed immediately after the activity, and what remained after a later restore? The laptop reports show why this distinction matters. A temporary gain, a retained component and a later isolated result are three observations, not a confirmed repaired income loop.

Before choosing a number, ask what was counted. Starting role cards, career routes and promoted positions can describe different sets. A static client file and a later logged-in panel can also disagree without either observation being fabricated. Keep the source, scope and date beside the claim, then answer only the question that claim supports.
